Want free cable

Well, theres a catch, you have to have basic cable and be compatable with Scientific Atlantic cable boxes.

I'm holding a Group Buy privatly between us friends on Honda Society. I have unloaded these at $200 a piece, it is a Brand New Scientific Atlantic 8950 Cable box with remote and a descrambler chip, I don't think they are legal, so keep it on the hush.

If I get 5 people they will be $175 + shipping, if I get less it will be $190 for Club240 MEMBERS ONLY!!!

Everyone else is $200 + shipping.

Email me for immediate reply.

umm, what?

i've never seen one of these where you had to ALREADY have cable in order to get all the channels.

maybe the box's i've seen down here just work diff

they are illegal, and you have to be careful because they will 'zap' the chips and you can end up just wasting your money

the box's i've seen sale from 150 to 200 and they are the old school ppv box's that have been modified to where all you have to do is plug them into the wall and they work....i dont have cable, so i'm asking my dad to get me one for x-mas

the kind i'm talking about cannot get 'zaped', but the ones he is saleing can....buyer beware

If you want to keep it hush hush, not usually a good idea to post it in public on the internet as someone down the street from me was doing it on ebay and just got busted cause local police tracked him down.

Sorry, they aren't illegal, I did my homework. Read this article, directly from the US government. It clearly states that using your own cable box is perfectly legal as long as it is compatible with the cable system.

http://www.fcc.gov/Bureaus/Cable/New...s/nrcb4009.txt

And if they are zapped, just reprogram, you own the chip.
