Rb20det????

I just got an rb20det for my 93' 240sx.im on a budget and im trying to just get the engine runing in the car so i can use it as my daily driver.its going to be set up for drifting.what are some hints as to wich parts i should replace/upgrade while i have the motor out?ive already replaced the water pump, tensione&idler, and put a greddy timing belt on it.any help would be great....

replace the cam seals and clutch and since its a dd id suggest doing ur heater hoses as well. other than that u have pretty much everything else done that u need

ok, thanks..now i just have to go find one..and another question..where do you have your BOV at?im either goin with the HKS SSQV or the GREDDY TYPE RS..im just trying to see where is the best place is for it..thanks again!

How is the stock on already maxing out? I'd go ahead and replace all the gaskets as well. The BOV is on the charge pipe right above the head. And if u get a new one. make sure hook it back into the motor or when u let off the gas it'll die.

will i have to get an addapter for the hks or greddy, or will one of them bolt directly up?

Urban Outlaw 04-16-2008 08:38 PM

............ look at them. lol Which one has a flange?

slidinRB 04-20-2008 06:11 AM

the Greddy has a flange.....but i wasnt sure if that would fit the stock flange.

Talk to CarlH he live in SC, he can tune the ECU for some more power. He is on Nico and 240sxforums.
