I read all the ones i can find. This is the order i like the most 1.DSport 2.Modified 3.Super Street 4. Turbo 5.SCC and 6. Import Tuner. Import tuner a dont even like that much, i just get it cause it has some good cars usually. What sucks is that Modfied just got bought by primedia and primedia as crap so hopefully they dont f*** up modified and make it all crappy like their other magazines. Primedia blows. All their magazines keep getting smaller and smaller. The first super street I bought was like a book. It was thick as hell. Now they are barely bigger than the other ones. RB26 six speed --> magazine discussion? what the hell? haha.

I think turbo is cool because their editorials are really informative. like i said i dont like 2nr either i just read it to see the cars. Super Street makes me mad how they always make references to the staff members all the time. Like i know all their names but i dont know the names of a single writer in any other magazine. I dont think its ever that funny, just annoying. I dont care about Nads or rickdaddy or JDM wong. I mean what the hell, why do i have all their names write of the top of my head. AH! haha.

PS. dude i jacked my own thread, dont be sorry

yeah bu tlook at the pictures closer. there alot of welding and fabwork that went into the bellhousing alone on that tranny.

you need to have adaptor plates made, and the bellhousing cut and welded. alot of work. alot of money. not worth it, really. the Z33 trannies arent that strong

for the thread starter.. if you really want a 6 speed tranny.. don't waste time in investing for some kind of custom one off tranny mating.. just buy a close ratio kit for the rb25 transmission.. there are several top japanese aftermarket companies that offer them

dude look into PPG gears. i talk about them alot because i have seen them installed and in action first hand here in MD. a close buddy of mine was a tech at AndrewTech Automotive and from what i understand they are among the very few certified to install the gear sets.

and yes they make the gear sets for various nissan trans

If you have the money to waste, HKS of JAPAN sells a six speed sequential transmission assembled, or you can get a discount and get the parts to build it yourself. If you buy the assembled unit you get a really HKS stamped tranny casing.

Doesnt Greddy/Trust also offer a six speed trans now? Im not sure if its standard "H" pattern or sequential gearbox. But the HKS is really sick. Too bad it cost big bread

No shat like 12 grand for the assembled unit. I'm sure greddy/trust makes or at least use to make one. I'd even bet that os giken sells one, I know you cna get gear set from them.
