set up for racing in stock form
I have a stock 240 and was woundering about how to go about having the car ready for a weekend at the stip or at an autocross event.
for the strip should i take all the wight i can out of it or should i leave some in the tunk for traction?
should i lower the PSI in the rear tires for a little better launch?
How much gas should i run in the tank?
for an autocrss event the same questions
is the lack of waight in the rear going to throw off the wight balence or should i add a little to the rear and try and take some off the front to get closer to a 50/50 split?
How much gas should i run in the tank?
if anyone has any other tips to that you know of to help the car handle a little better in it stock form would be most helpfull

for drag, certainly lower rear tire PSI, about 20. Since it's RWD you shouldn't need weight in the rear cause it's all gonna shift that way anyways. It's good to have as little gas as possible to get there, race, and get home. Less weight. In AutoX you should do what makes you comfortable. Weight in the rear could cause oversteer, but you may like a little OS. I think 240 are already one of the best balanced cars out there F55%/R45%. I think that you'll get better handling cutting as much weight as possible. I'm not a pro but this is what I do when I go to the track. Hope it helps!!!

He's talking about "a weekend at the stip or at an autocross event". I'm sure he's not in a competion. Less weight will make you handle better, but in turn will put you in a tougher class. If your going out for yourself and to just have a good time, strip it.
