How old is "old" exactly? I want a specific number of days, hours, minutes, and seconds please.

 

Just use common sense, if you open up a thread that's a few months back, that's fine. But if you're bringing back a thread from 2008, then we have an issue. Especially if the original poster hasn't updated the thread or posted anything else since then.

why don't you as moderators just close the threads then? and why is such a big issue anyways? oops hope I don't get banned for this.

 

You won't, it's an issue because the moderators have lives of their own. I have a full on career, girlfriend and her son to contend with as well as motorsports. I do what I can to close threads as they're posted in, but I, nor any of the other Mods and Super Mods, are any match for people who dig up a 3 year old post to ask if tear drops are still for sale.
