14 year old ready to learn!

I know guys, you will probably think,"Another 14 year old..." but I'm not another 14 year old. I will get my permit next year. I turn 14 Monday and I decided I'm wanna probably get a 92-93 240sx. In order for me to get it it, I need to learn as much as I can about the car. This is why I came here. I hope you guys and inform me well. Glad to a part of club240.

Edit- I'm gonna want the MS13.

Welcome to Nissan 1101. First order of business download the Factory Service Manual. The link we have is down, but you should be able to find it on another forum.

Get familiar with the basic layout of the car (location of filters, fuseboxes, clutch, brake and power steering reservoirs, and other general stuff..) So when you decide you want to purchase a car you know what problem areas to look for.

So Happy Birthday, and good luck on that permit!

Welcome to Club240.

Welcome! happy early b-day. I didn't know this forum targeted people at such a young age, but good to see that you're open to learn. And yes, start saving. But check out the FAQ I think there's some in-depth stuff over there.

what state gives permits out at 14? I had to wait 16 to get the permit and 17 to get a provisional license. Damn new jersey.

I live in Texas. We can get permits at 15. They don't give them out at 14.

Rollinrader- What's up with the double post?
