as long as you're not cutting those springs, LMAO!

Just kidding, what setup are you going with?

GR2s give me the heeby jeebies due to the fact that they aren't really rated for the compression and valving required to run a lowered setup. I mean, I hear people talk about them and I haven't heard too many issues from them, but they aren't sports shocks by any means, they're supposed to be OEM replacements. But that's just me, I mean, when I jump into something, I go all in or not in at all.

But yeah, S13owner, good luck with your project man, like I said, I can't wait to see what she looks like when complete.

I would stay away from Tokico HPs with lowering springs, they definitely aren't valved for that. They work well with stock ride heights, however, when lowered they fail very early, those are the only "aftermarket" struts that I can honestly say are well below OEM spec. If you're going to go with Tokico, go with the Illuminas or D-Spec setup, although D-Spec . . .well . . .I can make a whole new thread on the woes and throes of D-Spec.

Check out the drifting section, there's a bunch of writeups, if you have questions about technique, check out the Road Racing section, I have a lot of information and have even taken the time to post up my lesson plans that I used when I used to teach over at Virginia International Raceway.

If you have questions after reading through all of that information, let me know, I'll help you out the best I can.

Take care,
-Stig
