From across the pond...

Hello

Everyone calls me Grez, and as you might have guessed from the thread title, Im from the UK. I drive a '93 200SX (RS13) with a few modifications for now, more will be on the way when I come back from the Nurburgring in September, mainly because I now have no money left!

I found the site from a link on the UK SXOC site, and as Im moderator of a US-based car forum, thought Id say hello while im here. I know bits about the US 240SXs, and my main reason here is to learn a bit more, broadening my horizons and all that.

Just a couple of the car before I go to bed:

Shes not massively powerful at the minute. I was originally running just under 1 bar on the T25, but the seals went and i decided to go for a T28. While Im in the process of finding an EBC, I had the car dyno'd just to see how she was running, and she made 170bhp @ 0.4 bar, which wasnt too bad. Looks hopeful for when I can finally turn the boost up...

Anyway, will eventually put some better pics up in the members rides bit, but thought Id better post my car in here first. Oh, by the way, might as well get the shameless plug out of the way:

The site is still largely in progress, although most of it is finished. The site is generally just automotive based, and theres only two of us SX owners on there so far, so feel free to join up.

Anyway, hope to hear from you soon

Thanks for the welcomes.

The SX scene over here is getting bigger and bigger, especially with the D1 scene really coming into its own. It seems more and more people are importing Silvias rather tan buying UK cars nowadays though. As for the scene in general, well yeah we'll never get rid of boy-racers in hatchbacks.

Been reading about KA-T conversions, its something Id ideally like to do at some point, seen some very good numbers on that set-up.

I can teach you a Yorkshire accent. Basically an English accent that girls dont tend to find very attractive.

I wouldnt go as far as to say EDM is better than JDM though, Id rather have an SR20 than my CA18 anyday
