Hey guys, been readin for the past week... shool citz.
Ya know how hard and locked up 240sx info was for me... like anyone around here knows crap about em... GLAD you guys know your stuff!
Well anyway, I am sure to have questoins, but for now I am looking for a fastback/hatchback (is there a difference?) shell or engined but I don't want to spend much.. (GETTIN AN R6

well anyway, right now I am trying to get a prior project car out of the way (95 celica - shaved door handles, 17" Enkie RS6))
but I started the project and noticed the car sucked, so I was reading my mags, checked out the drifting section (cause everyone wants to drift) and lo-an-behold, the top 2 out of the 3 best drift car spots held by 240sx... I WANT ONE...
After seeing the pages I know pretty much I want to do but suspension, (don't know where to start, or a checklist)... so if you could please point this newb in the right direction... I would worship you guys (more than I already do)... and what car doesn't come with HICAS cuase that seems to suck as..butt...

there's like, an "Encyclopedia Nissan-tanica" worth of information on this site. peep some threads, run a couple of searches, and i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if more 80% of ur questions are answered.

Yea man, I am glad that I make some people laugh, even if it is at stupidity (and yes I am stupid as I am new to this shiz). But anyway I am extremely excited as I bouth a 90 fastback for 550 to put an engine into. SO EXCITED I took it around a "gravel pit" (only b/c I plan to replace a lot of ****, engine especially), and man I love it, so much fun.
But the questions begin, I don't have much free time on my hands anymore, so please don't get aggravated if these are repeats but:
What are the advantages/disadvantages between a sr20det and a rb20det (besides rb's weighing more), and which one would you get? (Think of money conservation too if you could please)
What about widebody, I have read every forum about widebody and someone showed a site that had 15mm wide s15 front conv. fenders
and was wondering if anyone had rides with the back wider and if it made much of a difference (looks/performance (if dif. offset rims)/ or anything).The interiors crap so just to post along with this, I might need some pieces for a fast back. Any post ups about warning are welcome as this is a fixer up and since the front strut tower seam is a lil rusted, I am having it rewelded along with other problems (small I think, maybe not).
