this is some old pictures of it before the 5 lug swap it has a bunch of little mods on it such as..front & rear strut tower bars, coil, header, jdm sport exhasut (ebay) enhansed spark pluges, altima fans, 5 lug w/ 300zx wheels, nismo steering wheel, clutch dampener bypass, stage 3 clutch, b&m short shifter, nismo grounding kit, intake, 300sx fuel filter & some other little stuff nothing great...oh and 2 6x9 in the back
i'd say save up for coil overs but if you must get springs i've had drop zone springs on my s13 for about 3 years now, the ride is firm but not stiff. the problem with springs is that you can only go so low unless you cut them but cutting them is not recommended even though i cut mine.
If you still have OEM struts, I can't recommend getting lowering springs, I say save a little bit of money, get some struts that can handle the drop or even ones that are made for the drop and go from there.
Lowering stock suspension can lead to premature failure of your current suspension.
But yeah, DZ's are pretty decent, let me know how your search goes.

Go with what's been tested and what's know, I don't know much about the products from Megan Racing . . . DJ (biggamehit) probably knows a lot more on that topic than I do.
I say go with Tein . . .see how that works and rock those.
