Hi everyone. I'm new around here. I was wondering if anybody out there can help me with my problem. I have a 95 240SX SE, and I'm putting as S13 SR20DET redtop into it. I have everything I need, but there is just one difference in the wiring harness between the KA24, and the SR20. Right next to the KA ECU there is another small box that the harness plugs into, but the SR harness doesn't have this plug. I don't know what that box is for. Do any of you? Is it necessary to have if i'm using my SR20? I'd appreciate some help with this problem.

 

Try posting this in the engine swaps forum, more people might see it there. I'd love to help you, but I don't know much about engine swaps right now.

 

Are you saying that you want to run your SR off of a KA ecu?

 

No, i'm going to use the sr harness, but there's an extra box inside the car that the ka harness plugs into, but not the sr. So, whatever that box controls it's not gonna be plugged in because the sr harness does not have that plug.

Yea if that extra box was for the KA and there isn't a plug-in on the SR harness for it, then don't worry about it.
