A few problems maybe somebody can figure out

i have a 90 240sx ka24e

first problem ive had recently, sometimes when i go to start my car i have to crank the key anywhere from once(normal) to 20 times before it starts.
I have replaced the battery and starter both did not help. Suggestions?

second in first and second gear if im in like 3000 rpm and i let off the gas it drops dramatically making you lean forward. Sorta odd my friend said he has a 240 and his didnt do that. Any ideas?
It's pretty bad if i press and let go of the gas i can pretty much bounce, it sorta reminds me if you let off the clutch to soon and the car shakes or jumps however you want to explain that feeling.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

the second "problem" sounds normal, thats just the transmission slowing your car down.

ok first problem...ok when it does start it idles 1500 for a little bit till it is warmed up then goes to 900-1100.
Yes when i turn the key it does click.
We did a multimeter check and it was the right voltage and when it was running we disconnected the battery to see if the alternator was working fine and it still ran.

Im still not gonna rule out battery cable just yet. The guy i bought it from had a custom positive cable cuz you have a system hooked up to it i have a pic of it (the burn mark is when i didnt bolt my battery down and i would hit a bump and it would touch the hood and short out my car....and that might be a totally diff problem)

I had the same problem with it clicking, I would turn it up to 15 times then it would finally start. I replaced the pos and neg battery cables and now it starts fine.

The starting issue could be a bad relay, no?
