Future 240 SX owner

Hows it going? Well, not really sure why I registered here because I don't own a 240 sx......yet. I (hopefully) will be purchasing one in the near future, but being a teenager, money is a big influence. I also haven't drifted before, but, my friend is somewhat into it and I fell in love with it the moment I saw a picture. I have a ton of questions, but I'm not going to ask them all now haha. Except for one: Is an engine swap necessary for a decent drift car? You know, just to get an idea of how much this is going to cost.

you don't need to swap the engine to drift the stock ka24 engine on the 240's is more than enough and an lsd helps make sure the 240 you buy you make a good inspection of whats good and bad in it and fix it so you don't end up killing it.

240's are lots of fun and you'll learn a lot from em.

haha yea, I heard suspension was a big factor. So I guess shocks, springs etc are going to be on my shopping list.

oh and dumb question, anti-sway bars, good or bad? or do they even matter at all?

Welcome to the forums.

The HICAS rear swaybar is the larger one of the S13 bars.
