anybody driven one of the new Mazdaspeed 6's?

 

^^^No...but ive RIDEN in a x-runner now....and its nice. The engine is built for top end power and its definetely noticable on the take off. On the freeway though....well riding in it was fun, cant imagine driving it PLUS its a truck...

half of me is arguing with myself as to if I should sell my car for a different car or keep it.

 

sell it when the new fast and furious comes out, I'm sure it will bump up the pricetag a little....

l2aine, any particular reason why you want to move on to a different car? personally, the only other car I'd want would be an e36 M3~ I figure around 12K for one in decent condition. biggest deterrence for me though is the cost of mods and stuff on top of the cost of the car~ 240's just a much more viable option for me these days considering budget...

 

well to be honest I'm thinking Kouki or SC300.

Kouki? why kouki? main difference would be cosmetic~ so maybe you're just wanting a different flavor? maybe just for a newer car? that's understandable too... not worth the trouble though imo~ still pretty much same car. SC300 would be real nice, but isn't it even smaller than an S14? I'm not crazy about small cars, or toyotas for that matter... (excluding Elises and Minis~ lol) but I guess it boils down to what will make you happier in the end. I'm sure you already know and are thinking through to yourself whether it'll be worth it... g'luck either way.

 

It's not so much cosmetic (I love zenki's obviously) but more because it's newer, which usually (hopefully lol) means less problems/stuffs to fix. I mean, when I bought my current S14 I was doing contract work (variable pay month to month) and I was working with a $6000 budget ($ made from selling my SE-R) - which included registration + tax + insurance + about $700 for 'fixing stuff'.

I think my window amp module dying on me made me start thinking about switching to a newer car. I also would prefer starting with a bone stock car - the one I have now had modification tell-tale signs (welded exhaust, super gay aluminum wing, etc.).

And yes, as s13240 said, I like the 2JZ idea... plus the SC is actually a little larger overall, and I like larger coupes, as in more presence - which is why I chose an S14 over an S13 in the first place back then.

Not that I fit into the "big car, small *****" rule... because I don't ROFL (I'm not some 5'3" asian guy looking to buy a Corvette LMAO!)

 

I'd love to buy your car, mainly because Zenki SE are uber rare..

but it's modded..I hate buying modded cars.

iv been getting the same feeling...

iv been keeping my eye out for a miata or mr2 but i really want the new mr2 (mrs) i cant afford that though.

i think once i get my coils il fall back in love with it

Yeah I really miss my 1992 sc400 it was a sweet ride even being auto and all. Have been thinking about either a sc300 or gs300 as next car and either turbo stock motor or swapping in a 2jz depending on how deep in debt I wanted to get.

I really love 240s and have thought about picking up a zenki as my next car if anything ever happens to my fastback, but the engine still was good.

 

SC300 would be badass....DO IT!
