That's true though. The Miata is the best thing to start off with in GT3 and NFSU. Lol, until you upgrade like 5 races later.

I remember I upgraded to an FC (remember, this was BEFORE Initial D so hah!)

and since this damn thread has no subject, and more subject changes than the news, I got one:

I remember when I first got into cars, the ones I loved the most and still do to this day (chronological order from how I started liking them... and from what I rememeber):

- 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo Z32 (Dad showed me a 2 page silver ad in MT and from there I was carguy for life)
- 1992 Nissan 240SX SE S13 (from a dealer catalog when my mom bought a Maxima SE)
- Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 (Autoweek article entitled "Godzilla"... in o.g. gunmetal color!)
- Mazda RX-7 Tenth Anniversary FC3S (ex girlfriends car, let me drive before I had a license lol)
- Mitsubishi Starion Esi Turbo (saw a widebody version, talked to the owner and was impressed)
- 1995 Nissan 240SX SE S14 (couldn't afford one at the time damnit)
- 1995 Nissan 200SX SE-R B14 (ended up buying one for my first car)
- 1967 Shelby GT500 (before "Gone in 60 Seconds" - my uncle has one in New York)
- Mazda RX-7 R1 FD3S (all white, saw it at a dealer while brother was looking at MX-3's)
- Nissan Silvia S14 (Nomuken tune up of his white S14 in Option 2 video, way back before D1!)
- Nissan 350Z Z33 (the great return!)
- 2004 Nissan Titan (big bad mother - I love those trucks)

Alrighty, I really started getting into cars when I was close to getting my permit/license and I would get one myself. First one I fell in love with was:

Old School Ford GT40 (First car I ever fell in love with. Mid-engine rear-wheel drive. Awesome car when it ran the Le Mans. This is teh car that got me into cars)
2nd Gen Honda CRX (saw some nice ones online with some mean *****. Lightweight and a lot of potential)
Z32 2+2(Saw the CRX was too small so I went for something bigger and badder, the Z32. I still love that car. I wanna own one later on)
S13 Fastback (The Z was way out of my budget and insurance would be a pain so I looked at something more economic. Great car nonetheless)
FC3S GXL 2+2 with TII swap (Great car! Wider wheelbase and "room" for people in the back. Saw one guy do the TII swap and it was clean)
MA70 (A car I almost got. It was a gunmetal color with 156k on it and TEMS. Only thing is that it didn't have a turbo. I had plans for it. Getting a MGH for it to fix that nasty HG problem it had. It was so clean. Power everything. It even had the orginal owners manual. Taken care of greatly. Everything was stock, targa top. very clean. Got the 240 2 weeks after, lol.)
G35 (God that thing is a beauty! I love that car. It';s so gorgeous and it has *****! Holy crap, it's an amazing car.)
Ford GT (The legend reborn. Kind of on the heavy side, but a sexy car nonetheless.)

 

I had a bubble like that kid in the movie i just had people run into me with their car and i would bounce all the way to the store.

1. an actuall 180sx my neighbor had.. and every time i'd see an s13 i'd be like.. 'hey!! its a 180.. wait.. why does it say 240sx on the back and windows??' (this was when i was 10)
2. my dad's 88 toyota pickup wich was badass cuz it was stick and looked dope with the roll bar thing in the back
3. 1995 300zx twin because damn.. thats badass
4. 1991 civic Si hatchback cuz i found out that the zx was expensive like a *****
5. S14's.. anyone will do..
6. the new VW R32's cuz damn.. its a 4wd hatchback turbo'd!!

ohhh!!! my uncle might give me his MKII if his wife convinces him its got rims and dropped.. N/A tho.. but its all good rite? all its doing at his house is takin up space.. only prob is that the 1st gear syncro is screwed so it pops outta first if i dont hold it in while accelerating.. when i get it.. primer the *****
