whew yeah I was able to pick it up yestarday around 6:00. You guys wanna know the best part of it? I can't tell you because I DIDN"T GET A FRUCKING CHANCE TO PLAY IT YET due to this following story....
So ok, some of you guys might remember that I have a friend that just bought a 240sx. Well the clutch needed to be replace right. So we order the clutch and we find out after getting the tranny off in his garage (doing this all with shi7ty jack and jack stands, we find that the flywheel is warped. Whop de frucking da. So he orders a brand new one OEM for $40 (know a hook up). Since we picked that up before I picked up the game we then proceeded over to his house where he has no PS2. So we waited until one of our friends-mechanic to come over so we could get this car rolling. He gets there at about 8:30. So we go about taking off the flywheel (with no air tools I might add) and stopped the flywheel from moving with some creative action with a pry bar.
Again remember that this is all pretty hard to do when you have less than a foot above your head to work with for space.
So we get the flywheel off, get the new one on without too much standerd trouble and then slap on the new clutch disc and pressure plate. Now here comes the best part. (We probably had all of that done by 10:30 because we were taking our time and had no space to work with.) The bell housing on the tranny simply refused to make this easy. And when your laying on your back with a tranny on your chest with almost 0 clearence, no light and trying to lift that frucker into place it's no easy game. So after an 1 hour and 15 min.
of wiggling and telling the tranny to go fruck itself we finally get the input shaft to come into contact with the pilot. Then when all seems to be good
my friend who was under the tranny accidently hits the fork which the throw out bearning sits on. Yeah the springs were a little beat and the FRUCKER FELL OFF!!
So yeah after all that time of working the tranny into position at 12:30 we were like fruck this and placed the tranny back down on the ground to be done today. The only good part (laugh, laugh, scarcaism) is that I can't help him today because I get to work both of my jobs today after helping him till almost 1 am
.
Ok i feel somewhat better now.....
