did i miss something? lol. i heard there has been a massive amount of slim PS2s being brought in from Gt4 players just simply frying the elctronics...sorry to burst your bubbles. =( id love a small one too but until they fix the electronics and make it proper cooling efficient. no thanks

Nice. Insert Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball and be like "wtf???? i didn't set the blow off valve to release...." lol

Also with the front mount, now we need to figure out what type of air your going to have blowing over that thing... In which case a fan should be pointed at the PS2. Of course if you did that in the first place it might solve your problem.

WAIT!! LMAO just thought of the best idea. Mount a dual electric (or single as the case may be) fan on your T.V. console center. Like make a hinged mount in front of your PS2 so after you insert your game you can just flip a switch and instant cooling power!! Would look something like this:

hey guy's i learned a neat trick! in gt4 on the special event races the second one on easy, when you beat that one you get a car that is worth 256k. but the neat trick is you can go back and clear it and then you can win it aall over again.
i own the hks d1 s15! i put the stage 5 turbo kit on it so now it has almost 600hp it rips.

They fry because people dont give them ample cooling space. They went to passive cooling over active cooling to save on space. That means more heat sinks are used meaning it needs ventilation to get rid of that heat. If people knew how to keep it cool, thge wouldnt fry.
