Yeah they are hella sweet cars...only ten grand used...six speed Mmmm. No I will not sell the wheels they are going on the ser...I might just get another 240. And my exhaust is crap you dont want it..

 

I was gonna buy this, and still want it really! I love coupes. Anyway, I had the money ready for the guy, but he then tells me that he doesn't have the title. He said that he never paid for something and needs to get the title. Sounded a lilttle shady to me. He posted the car for sale, yet he doesn't have the title ready. The title is the contract man!
He can easily scam me without the title. He can report the car stolen if he was to tell me that he's gonna mail the title after I pay for the car. He makes out with $350 and I won't be able to register the car and probably get arrested for autotheft.
It might be far fetch thinking, but I'd rather not take any chances. I told him to get the title and I'll have his money.

edit: btw the car has a clean title. It runs, but smokes and overheats. Rear driver side quarter panel has a dent. Needs a new trunk. CV boots on the halfshafts are f' ed up. Dash is cracked. In other words, the car needs a lot of work. He was originally asking $800, but talked him down to $350. Sounds like a decent deal to me. He just needs to come up with the title somehow.

 

got my lugs off.....bastards stripped my wheel studs and the new lugs I bought.....

 

damn you havent been having good luck with your wheels lately have you? How long did it take you to get em off the first time? wasnt it like a month?

this is the first time I got them off, first I was going to just rip the wheel apart then I decided to just get the lugs taken out because someone wanted to buy the wheels, took forever but finally got the lugs all out and now the people that did screwed up the damn studs.....

 

well... at least you didnt have to do everything twice...

 

Thats why you do it yourself.
