Talking Hello, honda guy now a nissan guy

Hello everyone. how's everyone doing?

Im new to the nissan scene..... well not totally new. my dad has a 84 nissan kingcab that he rebuilt top to bottom. ive been driving hondas for the last few years but i've always wanted a 240. i had an accord and a civic and my sister has an ITR. Basically, grew up with hondas.

was very close to buying a 95 bmw (Break My Wallet) 325i... but decided 240 was the way to go.. waited over half a year to find the right 240 cause theyre not plentiful like civics and not many people sell their 240's around here.

anyways about my car... black 1993 240sx le fastback super hicas with 130K kms (from canada.. so i think thats about 70000 miles???).

im just here to learn as much as possible from you experienced people...

side note.. how the hell do you adjust your idle? was at my friends shop and the computer program said it was behind the throttle body and we had to remove that to adjust the idle...that doesnt make any sense.. when i did a search on here, it made it sound so easy.. i guess ill have to do more research..

ahhhh gotta love driving in this BEAUTIFUL VANCOUVER RAIN... well at least it's not snow....

Welcome.

There was a write up here about adjusting your idle. If I find it, I'll let you know.

Honda's Dont suck man. I had an option of buying an auto camry and then trading cars with my sis. I would have taken the ITR over ANY stock 240 but the insurance on that is a ***** for a student like me.

stop being such a hater. we have enough G. W. Bush type people in the world and we DONT need another one... but then again.. ignorance is bliss, right?

ITR sucks.

I hate it. No thats a lie. ITR in the right hands can be a very dangerous road race car.

**** i would prefer a camry over my 240.

Shhh... your letting them know too much, to soon. Our drift spect camry's wont be done for a couple more weeks.

Welcome to the boards man, I love how most people that hate honda weren't even able to drive when they where popular. Good luck with your ride.
