Hi all,

Just sold a 2005 Volvo S60 R and got a 93 Nissan 240 manual.
Right now I am not going to focus on modding the car as I am depending on it for transportation, I am mostly interested in just cleaning it up and getting in better condition! The car has done a lot of sitting and needs some TLC.
Anyway I wanted to introduce myself and say hello!

hahah I don't want to insult the 240 community right off the bat but the Volvo to the 240 was a major downgrade mostly just b/c of the condition the 240 is in right now!
The Volvo was 300hp AWD had leather seats Navi and it was Sport/ Luxury sedan!
But I am saving to eventually buy a house and the payments were killing me so it had to go : (
Oh well I am reading and trying to learn as much as I can about the 240 and I am starting to see how much potential this car has wow!!!!!
I will work on getting some pics up tomorrow, remember though I said she needs some TLC

I put the lights like that manually but I am actually having trouble with the driver side light not going down when I shut the lights off! The passenger side light go's up and down with lights on/off no problem!
Oh yeah and I have NO radio

I would have definitely kept the S60, but that 240 seems like it could be pretty fun as well.

Don't get me wrong the S60 R was awesome, however I am trying to save up for a down payment on a house hopefully I plan to buy some time around middle to the end of this year! The Volvo was not helping me save money and the payments were killing me! Anyway a friend of mine had this 240 and it was just sitting around, he originally planned to fix it up and do all kinds of stuff to it but he realized he didn't have the time to put into it and it was in the way so he sold it me for $500. A few months car payment free will really help and car insurance is cheaper! Trust me if I could have kept the Volvo I would have but I am really sick of living in an apartment and ready to buy a home!!!!!
Right now the 240 is my daily driver but I wouldn't mind turning into a project car someday!
I have been reading a little about SR20DET swap! I really like the S14 body style I don't know exactly what would be involved in those changes but have been reading a lot so we'll see!

nice volvo but no offense everytime i see one i cringe cause a volvo smashed my front end lol anyway i did get a free front end out of it.

i personally own both a s13 and 2 s14 i like the s14 alot more interior quality wise its just no comparison the s14 wins hands down as for performance and looks its up to you perfomance is about the same and looks is opinon.
