Well there will be a lot of people on here who are much qualified than I to answer your question. AFIK, between a DOHC S13 and DOHC S14, it's going to mostly be preference. I know the S14 has a slightly better weight balance, but that's all I can think of.

And S14's are newer which usually means less mileage/wear on the body. S13 is lighter (obviously)... S14 = sex (obviously )

s13 are more prone to rust then s14's.
A very high percentage of s13 have some rust on it very little s14's have rust, it must be the way the treated the steel on the newer models.

no not much difference, but there are a few differences, what do you plan on doing with your car? road race, autox, show, drift, dd, etc....?

Depending on your plans, I'd say its all a matter of taste and being willing to wait for a deal. I recently picked up a 93 Coupe shell and blown motor for $800. The whole car is rust free, but then I spent a few months looking for a car as I was saving up. Don't forget that the silvia conversion is a popular one on the S13, so if you're going by looks it is between the S13 Coupe, the S13 Silvia, and the S14.

As for the technical stuff, other than the S13 being lighter, I dont know the differences really.

I like them both, I have an s13 that I picked up off a friend for dirt cheap but I would like to get an s14 and have a kouki front. What are your plans for the car, any swaps in mind, KA-T, etc....?
