Hey iam new to the the site and just wanted to say whats up. iam buying my 240SX tomorrow. its a 1991 240SX 5 speed. i did some searching and couldnt find what engine type it has, i no that the newer 240's (95-98) are KA24DE and the s13 silvias are SR20DET. the reson i ask is because the car has almost 200,000 miles on it and i dont have the funds for a SR20DET swap and just plan on getting new pistons, rods, and gasket set. Thanks

well the 1991 nissan 240sx ended up being a total waste of my time going to look at but i ended up getting a 240SX today. its a 1990 240SX coupe 5 speed. it only has 126K miles on it and the owner was a mechanic and it was his wifes and she was the origional owner so obviously it was takin care of. i spent $2,200 for it. what do you think?? ill post pictures up tomorrow when i put my rims on it.

 

well if your still thinkin swap look at ebay for motors then just do what i did find some jobless person that can do swaps and needs money hahha

 

well technically if he's doing the swap and you are paying him money for it.... then he isnt jobless anymore now is he?
