I'm not new to cars but I've been out of the loop on nissans for quite some time. Looking at picking up a 95 240 SE this afternoon. It has an S13 Red-top SR20DET (50K mi) swapped in it and some other minor goodies. Just curious if there's anything obvious that I should look for before I pick it up.
Test drove it yesterday, it drives nice. Engine sounds nice, no smoke or anything. I looked at the miniscule oil pan to check if it was ok, and it looks to be ok. No thumping coming from the suspension or anything. Has 2 problems - reverse lights don't work, and speedo doesn't work. I figure those are easy fixes. Again, just looking for some buying advice. Suggestions? Comments? Flames?

No flamming here, just listen for engine sounds, with the hood open (valve cover!) find out if they took out the timing chain guides, and the basic crack/ leaks. how much you gettin' it for?

The body is in excellent shape, and the car has a front mount and an aftermarket exhaust manifold. Hard to find a decent 240 here, most of them have been beat on in drift competitions.

It has a front mount intercooler. It's a "hybrid" core. Not sure of the actual dimensions. Tein springs. No other mods. The title is clean. He had an entire silvia front clip brought in, and he used most of the silvia parts for the conversion so it has the right AC compressor, radiator, shroud, fan, etc.
