Hi! Newbie from Holland!

Hi there!

Thanx to world's best friend Google I found this site.

I'm Dennis, living in the Netherlands.
Im driving a US spec s13 coupe ka24e.
The s13 coupe is quite rare in Europe.
All the S13's are the model like the 180sx.
My car has moved from USA to Holland in 1997 and since then it was owned by some guys who screwed it up totally

I'm in possesion of this car since September this year.
It drove like sh*t. Idle rpm was 200rpm, almost no trottle response. Couldn't maintain my speed. It was or accelerate, or enginebrake.

No speedsignal on my HUD and dashboard. No dashboardlights. Cruisecontrol dont work.

So if i were a smart boy, i wouldn't have bought that car.
But i fell in love with the model and the fact that it is a rare car in Holland.

Last week we changed speedsensor, but that didnt make a diffrent, still no speedsignal

Then we found a cable under the dash, that was a loose cable.
So we decided to dive under the dashboard and see if there were anymore loose cables.
And there were! we pulled over 11 meters of loose cable under the dash out!
copy/paste in new browser and the **** is the dirty word for poo

Now it's running 80% better!!
Still no speedsignal tough

Some pics of my car.The wheels are replaced by 6 spoke 15'' alloy's.

I hope that one or more of you can help me with this car.
I love this car and im wont sell it, so i want that car to get his other 20% back

cheers,

Dennis

Hi and thanx for the very warm welcome

And I hope that you guys can help me, when I need it. Nobody here has ever worked on a 240 properly. I've orderd the service and repairmanual, I think that would be also a great help ..
