im new :)

im new, and i dont have a 240 yet..
i have a 02 civic si (ep3) turbo, and im selling it to get a 95 240sx. i have always loved 240's , just somthin bout them . anyways heres my 1st long thread

alright, hears the deal,
right now i have a 02 civic si that is not payed off, i am makin payments 5 years (and have only one year done) i just started college this year which means that i have less time to work, and less money to make car payments and insurence, gass etc (car gets TERRRIBLE gass miliage ~20-22 mpg) anyways, ive always LOVED the 240sx... somethin about it thats just sooo sexy (s13sil80 and s14kouiki sp? in specific) and im really thinkin about parting out my car, and selling it, and using the money i get from parting out my mods to buy a 95 240sx(whatever i can find) or get a much cheaper 91/-93 240sx fast back. i really really love that body style and know eventually ill do a sr20 swap (when money finds its way to me) thats why i wanna stick with a 240 thats 95 or earlier (smog test reasons)
but i really love my car now, its rare (not many new civic hatches around, and even less turbo ones) and ill miss it, but i also like rwd, and the look of the s14... what would you guys suggest? should i dump the civic and the annoying payments for a 10 year old car? or keep the civic?
heres a quick pic off my camera phone

thanks!

Welcome. The Si looks pretty good but if it was me i would chose an S14 over one tho. Its 100% up to you. Which ever you like better and see your self enjoying in the future.

Drop the SI Hatchback for any 240 IMO the SI hatchback is the ugliest SI, coupe looks way better but thats just my opinion. Go for the 240sx youll be happier with the lower payments and lower insurance and the better car.

i used to have a coupe but i traded it in for this, the coupe was slow as *****, 127 hp to the crank, i dont think it even had 100 at the wheels, it was terrible (auto too) this things near 300 whp.. so she moves... im droppin it tho for a 95, im partin it out now.. i cant wait.... thanks for the welcome

i ended p keepin my SI, but i picked up a 1989 240sx hatchback for a decent price... it runs, rough, but it runs, (222k miles) so i got myself a nice little project. the body is in Great condision, little to no rust at all!!
