I'm new...Here is my project

hey guys (and girls)...im new to the forum and also new to nissan...im a huge honda fan but ive always wanted an s13 with the sr20det...finally found one local...its unfinished but i was told it wouldnt take much to get it running...it comes with a turbonetics t3/t4 turbo along with the manifold and a fmic...ive done a little research and so far i found out that i need to upgrade the fuel pump, but i dont know much else...any other help would be appreciated

also, how much would you give for this? he is asking 3k

so 3k for a unfinished swap a few words of advice never buy a swap car. they always seem to be problems. good to have you part of the forums goodluck. o yea run run and run some more.

arent the engines alone worth around 2k? why is this car not worth the effort? i was gonna offer him 2.5k because that what he has in it...it is one of my friends

Can you see that wreck? That thing is a MESS. Vaccuum lines and unplugged harnesses everywhere, ****ty as hell paint, ****ed interior, I have seen cleaner looking cars in the junkyard. You never get what you put into a car, and this is no exception. That looks like more of a headache than its worth.

plus, you have no idea what is wrong with that motor or car..for all you know that thing could be completly ****ed..never and i repeat NEVER buy someone else half assed bull**** swap...take the money and build your own car

as stated, never buy a "project" that was never finished. more likely than not the owner ran into a problem and realized that the best thing to do is get ride of it while he could.

i would never sell a friend of mine an unfinished car. simply because of what might arise from the possibility that this friend of yours might have a reason for disposing of the car, other that what you are being told.
