thanks man!!! i live on the island of kauai. the 240's here are perfect for drifting in that they are pretty much stock engines, rusty, body work on wheels crashes waiting to happen!!! most of the 240s here are falling apart and literally just dying to crash. the thing here is to take a 240 or a nissan hardbody truck (both with the ka's and standard trans) and weld the diff or get an lsd, cut the springs or get drop springs and just have fun. but i see way more drifters here use hachiroku's instead of 240's cause or the wheel base being smaller on the hachis and the roads being narrow. a clean, rust-less 240 is impossible to come by on kauai unless you get it from the mainland... and nah dude... never met alex. seen him in all my option and live sockets dvds! he was on a different island than me. he was from oahu. "tantalus drifter!!!" (tantalus being the touge on his island that the kids used to drift on a lot before the cops started getting **** about traffic violations.) i'm a "kokee drifter" (kokee being the main touge on my island here.) he's what i think of as a 1st gen hawaii drifter or a pioneer... i'm like 3rd or 4th gen... hahahahahaha! i've been drifting since 2002 and drifting 240's since 2004. there are no s13.5's on my island so i'm super hyped that i'm currently building one. after my car is done i'm gonna try to get the v.i.p. genre going over here too. some of my friends are already rolling in the lexus' and the infiniti's with the vertex and j.p. bodykits and monster rims and offsets, but i'm gonna be the first one here to drift and most likely crash a v.i.p car. i forgot to post my parts so here goes...

back in july i was leaving my workplace and i always take this little route to overtake a bunch of traffic in the streets around the parking lot and i usually used it to practice drifting too. so to give you an idea, i'd start out in low 3rd gear going straight, down it to 2nd and drift around this wood building in the parking lot (it's kinda like a left hairpin), then i would transition into a right hairpin that leads to the local walmart's parking lot. well the clipping points after the transition is a load of palmtrees all lined up along the way. so i make it around the building no problem, start swinging the rear around for the next corner when my cell rings. so i reach for my cell while i was drifting and i was struggling to get it cause the e-brake was stuck in my cell pocket. so i answer the call and the next thing i notice is that all my cars movement stopped (i still had the gas at like a quarter throttle). so i look out the window and i see the car teetering on something. so i hang up, get out and i was see-sawing a palmtree with 2 others layed out behind the car. then i was all like "#$@%&*!!!!!"
turns out i clipped the "clipping point palmtree" and that made my rear catch traction and my 240 jumped forward, plowing thru 3 more trees. since then i've called myself the palmtree killa. that's also why i'm making a s15 frontend cause my stock one is screwed and i always wanted one... what sucks is that the week before i spent like $1200 on making the car more reliable and cleaner (new carpet, battery relocation, customized the stock front bumper for foglights, etc.) for a fathers day carshow. the crash was 3 days later!!!
and the weekend after tokyo drift came out so i must've looked like some punk wannabe poser!!!
hahahahahaha

hey everybody! i know it took me a while to get the pics up but here they are. i finally got myself a computer 2 days ago, so i had to get the pics of my car from my friends. all these pics are from before my palmtree crash. oh yeah, i forgot to mention my custom 3" straight pipe cat-less exhaust in my parts list... it's SUPER THROATY!!! but i think i need an exhaust with better back pressure... well, anyway, enjoy the pics!!!
