Im not new but...

I have been a member here for about a month or so now, but my newest baby finally came home today. It is a 1993 Nissan 240sx SE. She doesn't run right now, but the body is very straight. The previous owner said that he could get it to start but never to stay running. I am so excited for my next payday. Just wanted to let you all know of my newest addition. I will post up pics tomorrow.

Well, i got out and kinda worked on it a little. turns out all the electronics work, and it runs....kinda. It will start and idle but it jumps from 1000 to 100 and does that until the motor dies. Any thoughts?

Oh yeah, i bought it for 350 bux

i'm guessing it could be your Mass Air Flow Sensor or your Fuel Pump/Fuel Filter. we had a similar problem with my wife's s13 and we replaced all 3.

Pretty clean body I would get that 240 running hock the Civic Si hatch for car money prolly can get a good 10-13 thousand for that civic. Now imagine what you could do to your 240sx baby with that kinda wad in your pocket. Hello SR20DET Hello fullbody kit Hello S15 front end conversion hello whatever the hell you might want for you car. Thats just what I would do.

You planning on keeping the stock wheels? Read up on motor swaps, you can allways fix up your Ka tho.

I would guess that it would be cheaper just to swap to a Sr, but its up to you.
