Hey, I'm Bill and I just totalled out my '01 Prelude. Anyway, I'm sorting through my next car ideas and I've always liked 240sx's. So here I am. Right now I'm planning on getting either an S13 Coupe to do a Silvia front end and sr20det swap on, or just a clean, good running S14a. At the moment I can't walk. Broke my ankle from the crash, so I still got a few months before I'll walk/drive again. So I'm just doing research on a few of the cars I'm interested in. My other ideas are a Buick Grand National, Dodge Dakota R/T, Miata with a Turbo, but these are just today's ideas.

nah, I was getting really tired of the car anyway. The block had a lot of problems, low compression, so I would have had to replace the pistons and rings pretty soon. Anyway, the check from the insurance company was very fair.

 

welcome to the forums, sorry about the prelude, looks like a terrible crash. Are you looking for a daily driver? or are you planning on extra-curricular activties with the car, ie: drift. drag. auto-x?

I auto-x'd the prelude regularly and was pretty good locally in STX, so I plan to auto-x this car next year as well.
Drag racing I've never done, I mean my last car wasn't fast in a straight line, I had nothing to prove.
Drift - is there a drift scene in St. Louis?
