MD 240 Seeker (obvious?)

I'm a 19yo guy in MD lookin for a 97+ 240 SX SE 5-spd (hopefully black). I just came off driving a 1987 Porsche 928 S4, and hoping this will be my next project car. (the porsche was just a nice cruising car I borrowed from my dad for a couple years while he enjoyed his new Ferrari 512TR)

Anyone know how easy it would be to swap trannys in this car? I've found a couple 97 autos that are in good condition, but I really would rather have a 5-spd.)

Can't wait to join the ranks of you lucky 240 owners...

This car is a great platform to build on, in every aspect (mechanical, aesthetic, price...)

welcome

most car saavy people can manager a 5 speed swap, it's actually very manageable. I myself am actually doing this in the spring as well, bought a NICE auto and going to convert it. what do you plan on using the car for?
