My 1989 240sx PICs

picked it up for $700CND adn drove it home
need a new windshield, tires and brakes


Edit: Haveing problems with the warnign lights and clock staying on while the key is out of the ingnishion(sp) anyone know how to solve this problem? its draining my battery

Thanks, but im getting screwed on insurence it will cost me 8000$ on my perents plan and 4000$ on my own plan? thats fu cked

the oil that came out of it was like pure black sludge though. it starts up with out issue though

are u sh1ttin me? and how is it more expensive on ur parents' plan? **** man, i only pay ~$1000/yr for full coverage on a 2001 car that gets driven 100+ miles a day. and the 240 w/full coverage is only another $350/yr. what's the deal? are u like 14 w/only 1 point left on ur lisence? are u a getaway driver for a living? i mean, damn. i've never heard of ish like that...

no ****ting ya.
the insurence rates in canada are rediculas now those quotes were even after the YD (young drivers graduation) discount man it pisses me off i have a completely clean driving record to.

yeah the car definately does need some TLC if i cant get a decent rate im going to fix it up and sell it for whats its worth.
if only i could afford a sr20det swap

dude, that sux ***. i wonder why insurance is so high up that way? could it be the snow? i dunno. anyway, here's hoping that u find a rate that u can cope with (and that will leave u enough dough left over to do something nice for that special girl ).
