My New 240SX
Hey there, my name is Tim Klein from Greenville, SC and I just got home (11:12pm) with my new car, a 1993 240SX SE. I went to the auction (my friends a car dealer) looking for a 95-99 Neon (before I get flamed, I had a 1995 that could hold its own, I wrecked it in February). I couldnt find any Neons in 5 speed, so I started to look at other stuff, mainly 240s and 90-94 DSMs. I saw a pearl white 240SX with sunroof and power options, but I didnt like it because it was AT. When the car came through the line (it was the last car) I bought it for a grand
Its in near mint condition with a newer higher end Sony head unit (Alpine CDA-7875 to go in), with the only defects being that the HVAC panel doesnt light up (solution?), the speakers are blown (I have a set of Alpine 6.5 components, dont know if they will fit, off to crutchfield!) and the drivers side headlight needs to be aligned or something, it closes, but doesnt match up with the body lines (very slight).
With it being an AT, its not that bad at all.
So any advice for a first time 240SX owner?
Thanks!
Tim Klein
