New 240 owner here.
Hi. My name is Kyle, and I love cars.
I'd been having quite a few problems with my 87 Celica for the past few months. After FINALLY fixing all those problems, I blew all the oil outta the engine one night and ran it dry at full throttle. Killed the engine.
So, after being without my own DD for the past month or so, I finally got a new car. My good friend Craig loaned me 1500 bucks to pick up an S13 coupe.
Its an automatic with a single cam and only 95K miles. Its in great shape. All stock.
I got ANOTHER 89 today as well, only this one is a hatch with a twin cam engine, 5 speed tranny, an LSD rear end, some suspension upgrades, cat-back exhaust, and a Momo steering wheel. Picked this one up for a mere 50 bucks. It'll be parted out, and the good parts will go toward the coupe; everything else will be sold by my friend Jaysin, since I'm gonna be keeping it at his house. Gotta pay "storage fees" somehow.
My goal for this car is pretty much just to make a fun daily driver. I don't need another project (thats what the MR2 is for). All I gotta do to the coupe is a basic tune-up, get a new exhuast (it has a BAD exhaust leak), turn or replace the front brake rotors, and fix the gauge display since it doesn't light up. All very easy and inexpensive stuff.
I must say... RWD is nice. That first feeling of oversteer was a beautiful thing.
Don't worry, guys. I'm not here to ask silly questions that can easily be answered by hitting the search button.

Welcome aboard.
It's always refreshing to see new members with common sense. For a great laugh, you should've said that you were looking to drop an sr21dett into your 95 rps13.
Then, your thread would have gotten much, much more attention (all negative, I'm sure).
