"New" 240SX Owner

Hey, my girlfriend drives a Ford Focus and I just found out she also has a Black 1989 240SX sitting at a relatives house. She took me to see it and it looks nice but needs some work. It barely runs and I believe it has a cracked motor and is about to throw a rod. She wasn't going to sell it cause it makes her insurance cheaper for some reason. She wants to get it running again cause it was a fun car to drive. She's not a car person so I will be looking for a new motor for it (if anyone can help me out there) and I'm planning on putting a little of my money into it to make it more fun to drive. Then she also said she would sell it if she could get a decent amount for it. So I am planning on buying it from her later. So I am sort of a 240SX owner...or will be. SO what's up everyone.

Thanks, it's a hatch, with about 177 grand on it. Indeed it's in need of a new engine. SO yeah I was thinking of just ditching the KA and getting an SR20. SO I'll keep looking around.
