new to the community

hey guys,my name is jb. i have a 1990 240 hatch. i've had it for a couple of months, but i'm pacing myself with mods pretty good. my car is currently lowered with tein s tech (got lucky at the junkyard), sport max 02 rims with dunlop tires, switched to electric fans (still trying to make that thermoswitch to work), cat back exhaust, k&n cone filter, and switched to a 300zx fuel filter. Just having fun with the sohc, but i have plans to swap a dohc. Any advice from all of you will be much appreciated.

welcome to the forums. how bad do the wheels stick out? im think about getting sportmaxes, nothin but alittle bit of rolling and pulling will make them flush right?

it sticks out enough to put 20mm front/30mm rear fender flares. rolling the fenders should make it flush, but im a lil hesitant on doing that myself so im going with fender flares. and because the 02's are zero offset on both front n rear, the front kinda sticks out a bit more than the rear. im gonna have to get 20mm spacers in the back to compensate for being the same offsett n same width all around.

also because it's a size 15, a lot of people recommended 55s or 60s tires. i purchased the dunlop direzzas 50s, so i have about an inch gap between the tires and the fender. personally i like how my car is lowered currently (1.2in. f and 1.5in r), cuz any lower im gonna start scraping all over the place.

i was gonna go with 205/50 for the streched look. ive got 10mil spacers so ill try and put those in the rear and see if those help when i get em. you probably have to get new lugs to right? lol im kinda new to wheels, ive been rockin the stockers for a while lol.

yeah mine is 205/50 too. they look pretty nice with the 002s. n u do have to get tuner lugs, the stock ones are too thick. i was rolling on mine for about 2 months, n i got tired of it lol. i bought my dunlops at tirerack.com, came up to $227 w/ shipping no tax. u can choose where they ship it from, so i chose nevada. it came in about 2 days. bought the rims at autornd.com, they're shop is located in milpitas.
