o.k i'm new to the whole 240 thing, i'm looking into one for a project, preferably a KA24de n turbo it nothing dumb fast im just looking to do a low 14's or a possible 13's setup... i'll be on here doing as much research as possible, any info help... pm me

You want to make a 240 a 13 second car, probably wouldn't take much, but if you really only care about drag racing, there are better platforms. Less money invested with more output production . . .but HEY . . .welcome to S-chassis.

Actually, I was still thinking Japanese, and still thinking Nissan . . .300zx is much faster than a 240 . . .I dunno, whatever . . .enjoy ^_^

after browsing, i feel very welcomed here nice forum, i know there are faster platforms but i choose 240... i HATE 300zx (srry) i'm really looking for a non hatch 91 to watever year it stopped at IIRC 93... i'm planning on strapping a 75 shot on my max, and a possible 100 for the track, however i love the look of a silvia converted 91, i'm just in it to mess around and not to mention save gas... i wish there was a 1/4 mile section on here but, so far i like it alot...

Well, DJ, we all know you can MAKE anything fast in a quarter mile . . .I'm looking at a base platform for tuning.

I don't know, I just laugh sometimes when I think what tuning mods and money that people dump into their cars just to perform on the level as some easily affordable car can do from the factory.

Whatever, I say nothing in regards to tuning, I'm a driver . . .

^^^ very understandable though i would prefer getting a slower car cause i like it more... my maxima is the 3.0L 222hp but i prefer it over the 3.5 255hp cause they're more durable... in this case i prefer a better looking car IMO to mess with... i dont wanna start fast then go faster, i wouldn't feel accomplished...

 

yeaup stig I know you know we know you know that lol..but the 300zx is a big ***** to tame.
