www.2jzswap.com

My buddy Andrew started that shop, they have the entire swap kit for dirt cheap, you cant beat their prices for a swap like this one.

Good luck with the build and keep us updated with all the goodies!

I know it's been done before, I just meant it's a pretty ambitious feat for what sounds like (forgive me for assuming) a young kid and his dad to attempt. I'm not saying they can't, all I'm saying is it'd be really cool to see this kind of swap done outside of a professional shop.

Oh no, I was just refrencing my friend's site for the thread starter LOL

But yeah, I know what you mean, this type of swap is not a normal swap and generally a big task for such a motor.

Im sure they'll be able to get things going in the right direction. Tuning on the other hand...

I sense a lot of high ambitions with this kid, I hope the dad is for real. I wish my dad something like that with me. O'well, at least I'll do it with my children! Good luck dude, congrats on the new car!

Hi guys, i'm 240sx master's dad, we will being doing the 2jz swap, just not 100% sure when exactly as i still need to round up a tranny to go behind it along with pedals to convert from auto to manual and what ever else will be needed, as far as the tuning goes, it will most likely be running on AEM, so that wount be an issue. i'm looking forward to this project with my boy, but it has to wait as i am building up a 94 supra right now for a freind, and it's kinda moving a tad slow as go fast parts are not cheap!

Wow. My dad doesn't even know how to check his e-mail, let alone join up a forum.

Welcome aboard! I'm personally really excited to see the progress on this one.

Btw, if you don't mind me asking, how old is your son now?

I'm actually in the middle of training my successor. My little brother who is going to be 8 in August. I'm taking him to a GoKart track for his birthday. I don't plan on letting him make the same mistakes I made...this kid is going to be legit..and very...very fast
