motor swap

well i have 2 240 motors but both of them have holes in the block and my tranny just went in my stanza so i wanted to just rip the engine out and switch so i can have a car to use. A lot of people told me it can be done. If you hear anything else about it please let me know cause i need a car. Thanks

With the right amount of fabrication, any engine can be put in there.
Is the stanza rwd or fwd? i don't remember
If its rwd I would think it wouldn't be too much trouble.
If its fwd it will depend on where the motor mounts are located on the block.

Is it the SE? The KA-24E is in that one, but the Stanza is FWD so I don't know what the differences there would be.

Actually I'd grab a phone and call the local salvage yard.

I found a 93 ka24. I wanted to know if it would fit in my 89 240 but also wanted to know if it would match the wiring because i have the wiring harness out of a 90 240
