I'm 15, saving up for an 90-93 240, gonna drive it stock for a while, then go for a ful sileighty conversion. after that, I plan on giving it the full drift treatment, but that will be after about a year. little stuff inbetween, like wheels, lowering springs, exhaust, blablabla

ok, there ya go, thats me

Yo! Just found this new board, looks good. Here are my little plans:

Going to make a NISMO 270R conversion from a 1995 240SX. I can get the actual Nismo kit from many different vendors like VIS, EREBUNI, or Importfan.com to name a few. But instead of the Nismo front bumper I plan to use a Skyline style kit that looks way better than the Nismo kit.

As for the engine etc. I'm still not sure what I want to do. I'm thinking something really stupid so that it will stand out in the import world 2JZ, SR20, RB26 or just a turbo KA are all being considered. Opinions?

That's just to start I'm going for 400hp @ the wheels, but still have a nice comfortable street car.

I'm driving my parents camry for now, my first car (3000GT N/A) died recently(trans failure). I dont want to keep it though for a number of reasons, 1. its automatic, 2. its FWD, 3. its heavy.

I've been interested in drifting for quite some time, I just haven't pursued it yet. Mainly because I live in houston, tx. Theres no where me and my friends can go except empty parking lots. Right now, I'm saving up for any RWD car i can get my hands on. Either a fastback 240 or a 2nd gen RX7.

My friend Will drives a 2nd gen RX7 N/A...its one sweet ride. 2 of my friends drive subaru impreza 2.5RS'. The only way they can drift is in the gravel or dirt. Julians impreza is a street car though, he dropped it abouat 1 and a half inches while chris' impreza is set up for rally. Kevin and I are left as the ones who still needs to get their rides. Kevin has his heart set on a fastback, he wants to do the ever popular SR20 swap. I myself have no preference on cars, whatever is available for a price i can afford.

Anyway, enough about that...the only reason I'm on this forum (car types aside) is i hope to learn new things about drifting and cars in general.

Well, I don't have a 240 yet, but I'm really hoping its in my future. Right now I'm 16 still with a permit; I'm gonna keep the permit until its necessary for me to get my license. That way, I won't have to be paying for insurance and can save up for a 240. I'm not sure which year I want yet, but I'm sure this site will point out the goods and bads of all of them.
