Hey fellas and fellets!! I just bought my 240sx on August 21 for $575. I don't know if thats a lot considering it needs a new head and the people who had it before me smoked like chimneys!! But its got 100k and no rust. I've been driving around in a 1988 Bonneville rust bucket with a bad tranny for almost 2 years so this car is making me EXTREMELY happy, eventhough i can't drive her right now. This forum seems like a great place to find out info and i cant wait to learn!

Welcome. I think this is by far the best web forum for 240/silvia info. I was looking at this guy's S14 he wanted to sell and the next day i saw him and his friends in it smoking and letting the ashes fall in the car. lol, It was a piece of ****.

 

man smokers suck, id prefer themto smoke in a smoking area than in the car, just nasty, but man what a deal!! congrats oh yea welcome! this place rocks, you give and the site gives back ^_^

yeah, i can't believe how bad it still smells. i've cleaned all the windows inside and out (it took about 2 rolls of paper towels because they were turning yellow from the smoke so quickly), i've vacumed all of the ashes and cigarette butts out, and i've sprayed it down with almost an entire bottle of auto febreeze! everyday i've opened the doors the sunroof and the hatch to let her air out, and i still can't get rid of the smell. I just bought some air fresheners so maybe that will help. Thanks for reading this huge post and thanks for all the welcomes!!
