Talking Newbie to club240.com

Hi all! I'm a newbie to this forum though i'm not a newbie to 240's. I've had my 240 for more than 3 years. I didn't know the full potential of this car at the beginning (3 years ago, this car wasn't very popular in my area).

I'm love with this car so much because i can do many events, it's versatile! Drag racing, Lapping, and i did few show&shines.

I recently wanted to go KA-T, but after a detailled pricing list of what i needed to be reliable, i decided it was too much. Fmax kit stage2, Full engine rebuild (pistons, rods, valves etc...) Head work and bottom. everything except block sleeving. I wanted it to take up to 20psi easily without questionning.

For now i have the Apex'i dual N1, Brembo slotted rotors, hawks hp+, H&R springs, Rota bronze Subzero wheels in 17". And few minor mods.. audio and accessories... (gauges, racing harnesses...)

Soon to be (when spring comes one day, we have snow here) new Koni yellow shocks ans cf hood.

Since i won't be able financially to do my KA-T project, i'll probably go with an SR S14 BT or try to think of a cool N/A project. I want in between 220hp and 270hp (250whp is enough for what i wanna do with it, hihihi)

I'm in a girl crew here in Montreal, Canada. The only 240 lol... with alot of civics... kidding.. i got a 90 civic as a winter beater and grocery getter... don't you love those

I hope i'll find valuable info here that will help me decide between N/A and SR...

Au revoir (bye bye)

rude,
i know a crx driver who swears his car can out handle mine. it's only got a cat-back (and hood pins which are better than nitrous ). he says it can b/c its soo light. as a driver of both, which one handles better?

i have faith in my nissan.

honestly, since i own both.........
it's a toss-up. my honda can take city corners at like 60 and barely be upset. my nissan is a torque monster and can steer with the rear wheels
the Cr-x is CRAZY light which will help corner speeds. but lacks the torque to exit corners. we all know how the nissan is.

but in all honestly....i wouldnt let my twin brother beat me in a Honda.

I've driven both... and i'd say that the 240 handles better ( both at stock condition) I don't know if every 240sx has independant suspension ( i know i do that's all) because of Us vs canadian models....

Yes the CRX is lightweight.. but the weight distribution is better in a 240 ( i think 51-49) As he mentionned in the previous post, the 240 is faster to get out of the box because of its torque! I pass almost every car in large curves... tight curves it's another thing.. cause the car is so dam long!!! Plus the 240 base is wider wich means more stability!

Anyways... it's my newbie topic.. and yet no welcomes?!?
