Newbie from DSM going to 240SX

Hello 240SX crowd! my name's Marq from NJ and I recenty got into a front end accident with my car 1991 talon turbo AWD. With all the work i put into it now i dont have the cash to fix the damage espcially with college. Here it is www.cardomain.com/id/marq4g63

Now i am looking for a 240SX preferably 91-96 the year where you can srop an SR20DET easily, correct? How much should i pay for a 240sx depending on year and mileage? Just a wild idea how about a mitsu 4G63T engine in a 240SX? One of my friends know a chick who has a 95-96 240SX for $2000 ill check it out soon

I dont even know or heard anyone who has done a 4G in a 240sx.. but it probably take alot of time and $ and it can be done. At this stage i dont have the funds to even plan doing that, so ill just worry about getting a 240sx 1st then maybe an SR20DET in the future or RB25DET. Ive only owned a turbo awd car, fell in love tuning with it, so I gotta have boost sometime soon again but this time a RWD.

youre wastign your time thinking about a 4g63t motor on a 240. If you want to go high end just go with an RB motor. At least those have been done before. Btw welcome!

Yea i was just reading up posts on either SR or RB .. ill try to get an S14 for the right price, btw my sis just picked up a 95 240 AT that i might takeover haha, if not ill just go with an S13. Sounds like an RB20DET would be a tad better choice price/power ratio-wise over an SR20DET.

Peas, Ill probably be moving to Las Vegas, NV this summer. What area in LV do you live? are you FLIP? i am. We are looking to move down in Henderson or anywhere south bound LV.

Thanks for the welcome!
