newbie guy

Hey everyone I just registered today after being in the shadows for quite a while.

I've liked 240's ever since I first saw them, well actually I was in love with the 300zx's when I was 15-16, but then I realized later that the 240 was the car for me.

To make a long story short after 4 cars/trucks I finally got the 240sx I’ve been waiting to own since I was 16 the weekend before the previous. All I can say is it didn’t disappoint, and i'm excited to mod and want to get in to autocross in the Toronto area (if there is any).

I know a bit about cars and have been working in a garage since I was 16, but I still have a lot to learn and I try not to be rice whenever I can help it.

I look forward to talking to people on the boards and if anyone is in the Toronto area let me know. It would be great to meet up with local Nissan enthusiasts since most people I know like Hondas. That’s the end of my babbling. Thanks

Welcome to the forum Soop
So what year is your 240? Give us some details so it will help with whatever process you want to take on your car. 240's are a great car to "fix up" or mod. Tell us what you plan on doing, etc.

But anyway, welcome aboard man, hopefully you'll learn some stuff that you might not have already known!

lol i totally forgot to even say what year i had

i have a 1992 se 5spd white stock its in good shape, the thing that is annoying tho are the headlights are uneven when shut the arm is a bit loose so i guess i'll have to get a new one, thats why i like the sleepy eye mod tho it hides the uneveness lol

I dont have a digital camera or a scanner so i dont have any pics yet! I think she's puurdy tho if that counts lol.

It's white i think the first mod i want to do is a b&m short shifter, is it true that it will work on the ka tranny and if i get an sr later it will bolt in?

If I'm not mistaken the short shifter should fit both the KA and the SR tranny
