Newbie..looking for S14

Hello all. Pretty much new to the 240SX scene. Anyways, I was looking for an S14 but can't decide which year to get (95-96 or 97-98). I only have round $5-6K to spend so kind of limited. I do like the front end of the 97+, but what else are differences? I saw an add for a 95 SE 5spd w/64k mils, but they were asking almost $10k wtf..Also one for a 95 SE 5spd w/108K mile for $5999. Still have not found a 97 for below $6k..Anyways I am in So.Cal..so if you see one let me know. Thanks!

only other difference on the 97 is the rear lights

you will NEVER find a 97 for below 6k(espically in socal!), unless it has been hit, has 300k miles on it or it's in no working condition at all.

Get the 95 with 108k, bargain them down to 5k or below and have a good day.

Welcome. 95-96's (Zenki's) are usally cheaper than 97-98's (kouki's), like HyJynx said. Just look Auto Trader and around in your area for a good deal.

Thanks! I found out the 95 SE w/108k miles has a salvaged title according to CarFax. That sucks! I'll keep looking.

I am now an official 240SX owner. I picked up the 95 SE w/75k miles yesterday. This thing is clean and drives smooth. I am the second owner. It will be used as my daily driver...for now..LOL Anyways, I will take some pictures and post later. Where does everyone in So.Cal get their OEM parts at for discounts?
