The nissan newb

i bought a 1990 240SX Se hatch. KA24E
its a diamond in the rough.

it was sitting in a small junk car lot.
it was priced for 800$.

when i got ahold of it it had 227,000 miles
they said the car needed a new alternator, i had it replaced and threw on all new belts.
put new rear tires. had the front balenced.
i feel like it needs a new clutch and soon to be a new tranny.
when i checked the Tranny Fluid, it was empty( people take care of great cars)
changed the oil, filled the trany with fluid

i have never own a nissan before, ive been a honda guy for several year.

shh dont tell anyone.

i love my purchase.
i hope this forum can help me with information, tips and the missing part im looking for.
after the little maintenance, it is a awesome running car.

picture coming soon.

Does anyone know the about of tubing needed for exhaust for a 240sx?
i am thinking of doing my own 2 1/2" stainless tubing.

does anyone have pictures of the bends and degree's needed per each bend?

the FSM ( factory service manual ) located in the How to section has a full layout with dimensions. stock is about 2 1/2. do you plan to stay N/A or something?

i downloaded the pdf, it does not give the mapping need for creating exhaust.

once i get over my chest cold, i will get picture on here.

i am looking at creating my own strut bar, as well as CAI.
for the most part this is being my A to B car, until i can afford to mod.

the 240 seems to be a fun car to drive. a lot better then a honda civic

hi.

i believe the stock exhaust tubing has an o.d. of 2.25" which makes the i.d. closer to 2"
