Noob here, need some help! thanks
Hey guys wuzzup, just want to thank all of you who replied in advance.
I've recently been saving up some cash for a new car. I was thinking about several options. I have about 10~15k saved up over the past couple of years and i just wanted know some stats and specs for a 240
I was just wondering, with around 10~15k, will I be able to get a decent 240 with an engin swap and take care of all the little things that needs to be changed.
And i was just wondering the availibility of the engine swap.
And after all the required swaping/cleaning up has been done to do the car. What are some stats for the car afterwards.
Also, how much would it be, if i would like to add turbo to the swapped engine, i was told that 240s can take quite alot of punishment.
Again, thank you in advance if you answred and if you feel like adding any other information, it will be greatly appreciated.
oh btw, my options for buying/financing a car is
Lancer Evolution
RSX-Type S
Integra Type R
240- SX
300- zx

well thats a lot of startup cash. Really depends on what ypu want. If you want a fully built car your on the right track. If you want a more than average modded car your set. If you want a show car start saving a lot more. The cost of building your car will depend on how much work you do yourself.
Well, i think what i am looking for is a everyday drive car, and That i can take to the tracks once in a while to satisfy my needs ^.^
I think i want to be able to do most of the work that can be done by myself or with a couple of friends. Anything like adding on a lip or side skirt would prolly be out of my reach.
I think this is what i want.
I would like to buy a 240, obtain a relativity new engine that Set2400 ( DET) or something after swap, i would like to get new brakes , suspension, tires brake pads and all that goodies.
then if i have money left over, i would like to put in turbo in the car.
if anyone could estimate the amount of money/time and availibity this will take, it will be greatly appreciated.
