Noob from Long Island

Hey guys,

I'm surprised it took me this long to find this board. I am a 240 newb, but this will be my 10th or 11th FR Nissan (All Z's, ranging from a 71 240z w/ and LT1/6-speed swap to my last Z a 1984 AE 300ZX Turbo. My pride and joy was my 85 200ZR clone, complete with the RB20DET)

I plan on doing a few things here to this car, mostly for fun street driving and occasional NASA Pro Racing HPDE/AutoX. No real body mods are gonna be done to it, as the pig-nose has kind of grown on me.

This is how I got the car:

This is how it sits now.

I just have these 17's on it til I can do the 5 lug conversion and get proper wheels. As for the engine, I think I am going to keep the stock KA for now, until it blows up, then I will either do an RB20DET or an LS2 swap. All depends.

That's gonna be taken care of soon. I am going to cut out the cancer, weld in some sheetmetal, and then from there 180SX side skirts. I was going to do a Silvia conversion on the nose, but I think i am going to keep the pignose.

As for lowering it, I am probably going with the Nismo S-Tune coilovers.

They aren't that bad. I can get them for less than $700 new. The Stance coilovers are my next choice.
