I have a 95 SE with an 01 spec R .... I have no speedometer .... any help on this problem .... shop tells me its due to the fact that the speed sensors are located in different locations and wont match up? this particular motor im told has something like vtec ... (vvtc, something like that) since i have no speed sensor hooked up will the "vtec" still kick in? Hondas cant use vtec without the speedometer. (so i'm told) N e help would be app. (s15 gauge cluster wont match up either)

 

Welcome to the forums. If you want the speedo to work you will need the s15 rear end because thats where the speed sensor is located.

 

Apparently as per the owner of the shop the the rear of the s15 i bought didnt come lsd ........ but i found that to be odd .... shouldnt it be lsd if its the SPEC R? what about that vvti issue im having ... without the speed sensor will it still work?
