Soon to be 240sx owner(hopefully)

Hello everyone, I will be getting my first car soon, and what I really want is a 240sx, basically as long as I can find one I can get it, I have the funds and everything. I actually used to want to get an old muscle car (mustang or camaro). But after a bit of thinking I realized I didnt really have the resources to completely restore an old car, and I didnt feel like dealing with the problems associated with old cars (my friend has a 69stang and it is always giving him trouble). Ive actually been interested in drifting for long while(before it was "cool"... at least I think) I figured what better car than a high displacement RWD muscle car. Ive actually decided that I dont want to drift that much if at all, but I want a 240sx no matter what. Mainly because its a Nissan, (My grandma and my mom both have Nissans and their cars have never given them any trouble, unlike my brothers Honda.) and the 240sx is RWD. I dont like FWD much... What im looking for in a car is a car that is bottom line fun to drive and maybe I can do the occasional low speed drift (in an old parking lot with cones or something). What I think is really fun is grip driving along the curves by my house, ( I imagine this is alot safer than drifting as well) What I would like to know is if anyone can help me figure out the most effective way to reach 250hp (I know 250 isnt that high, but I want to put more emphesis on handling) I imagine the best way to get to 250 would be just to increase airflow, and add a better fuel system, But I really want a turbo. I think maybe I could get a turbo from a wrecked car that comes stock with one. For example a guy I know had a Jetta 1.8t with only 30k miles on it but he wrecked it( I wish I had thought to ask for the turbo before he junked it, but oh well). Also I know that turbos can get realy expensive.
If anyone has any tips please feel free to post them and ty in advance.

Edit: I just realized what I wrote, a turbo probably would be the best way to reach 250, but im no car expert. I dont even know why im asking this, but I imagine it would cost alot more to do a sr20det conversion than just to get a turbo for the stock motor however I could see myself saving up for a while to do that. Would it be ok to put on a silvia badge if all I swapped was the engine? I dont want to be like the ppl that put typeR on their bone stock civics. Also another question I have concerns exhaust, I realize that most of the cars I hear around where I live have 1.8l engines and they sound horrible now obviously 2.4 liters is alot bigger, but will my car sound good when I "pipe it out"?

Well with more than 8000 members I expected more than one reply, but I guess that can be expected, I know how alot of forums are about using the search feature. Only problem is that my computer crashes anytime I try to use the search feature for some reason.

BTW what does Irasshaimasen mean? I have been slowly teaching myself japanese but I really dont know that much, I know a few words with masen in them and I assume that it is some form of me but again im not really sure

Yea that sounds good, really the only problem is finding a suitable 240sx. I saw the PERFECT car it was a 95 and white (thats the color I want) and a manual the body looked great too but it had 155k on it so that was out. I can find em easy with high miles, but my parents want me to get one with low miles anyway. I really would like to do an engine swap, but seeings how im going to be paying for a low mileage engine Im not sure it would be the best idea to go and buy a new engine and have a perfectly good one to just toss away or whatever. What im thinking of maybe doing is just driving the car unmodded till 100k miles and saving up money then swapping. I want an rb25det but thats probably to complicated for me so I might just go sr20det ( this is IF I swap). but the SRs seem to be kinda cheap so im thinking about going that way. I hope to get the 240, but if I cant find one I might opt to get a 94-95 mustang.

BTW would there be a better place for me to post my questions?

finding a 240 with low miles is almosr impossible. i found a 97 w/ 47 k and i am lucky. im supposed to be finalizing the deal in a few weeks. finding a 97-98 w/ low miles is very hard. you have a better chance looking for the zenki with low miles. try autotrader they have a lot.
