Welcome Me!!

Just bought my 240 this afternoon. I've never owned one.
Been an RX7 guy since 99' but figured I try one of these "piston" engines out.

Look foward to having you guys answer my questions.

first one.

1)My shift bushings are shot. What is the best place to find factory parts online? For that matter, who makes the best Short Shift Kit and does it come with new bushings?

Which bushings in the shifter would you be talking about? Only one I can really think of would be the one at the end of the shifter lever...Heres a diagram of the shifter components, which part do you wanna replace?

guess i need to rip it off and figure out why its so damn loose

are all shift ***** a pain in the *** to off??

keep in mind, im use to FC's(screw on screw off)

Yeah the shiftknob will probably be a ***** to get off but it will give eventually. How exactly does the shifter feel? Does it have excess movement

im pretty sure you will have to drop the trans, unless you figure out a way so you dont.... i couldnt get mine off from inside the car
